Percepções de professores do 6º ano sobre o fenômeno da violência em uma escola municipal de Muritiba-Ba

Abstract

A violência escolar consiste em um fenômeno histórico e atual, sendo objeto de estudos e reflexões no campo educacional. É preciso salientar a relevância desta investigação, visando ao seguinte entendimento: como o professor do ensino fundamental age diante da violência escolar. Desse modo, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral o seguinte aspecto: compreender de que maneira os professores do 6º ano do ensino fundamental lidam com a violência escolar. Delineou-se como objetivos específicos: a) Identificar os fatores condicionantes da campo violência escolar em turmas do 6º ano o ensino fundamental; b) Compreender de que forma a violência escolar afeta o trabalho docente nas referidas turmas; c) Entender quais as estratégias utilizadas pelos docentes para combater a violência as referidas turmas. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos, realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, cujos instrumentos foram: observação, entrevista e diário de campo, tendo como local de investigação uma Escola Pública Municipal do ensino fundamental na cidade de Muritiba-BA. Para discorrer sobre o tema proposto, buscou-se fundamentação em autores que discutem esse tema como: Charlot (2002), Abramovay (2002), Sposito (2001) entre outros. Com isso, é necessário destacar o papel desta pesquisa, tornando-se um meio para que os professores tenham uma nova percepção sobre o fenômeno da violência escolar. Junto a isso, a prática pedagógica tem como base a reestruturação de um ambiente educacional de qualidade. A partir da análise das informações obtidas nas respostas das professoras durante as entrevistas, e durante as situações observadas no momento das aulas, houve a possibilidade de constatar o fenômeno da violência existente na escola, caracterizando a agressão física entre os alunos, a falta de respeito e a indisciplina. _________________________________________________________________________________________ School violence consists of a historical and current phenomenon, being object of studies and reflections in the educational field. It is necessary to emphasize the relevance of this investigation, aiming at the following understanding: how the elementary school teacher acts in front of school violence. In this way, the present work has as general objective the following aspect: to understand how the teachers of the 6th grade of elementary school deal with school violence. It outlined as specific objectives: a) To identify the conditioning factors of the field of school violence in classes from 6th grade to elementary school; b) Understand how school violence affects the teaching work in those classes; c) Understand the strategies used by teachers to combat violence in these classes. In order to reach the proposed objectives, a qualitative research was carried out, whose instruments were: observation, interview and field diary, having as a research site a Municipal Public School of primary education in the city of Muritiba-BA. In order to discuss the proposed theme, we sought to find a basis in authors who discuss this theme as: Charlot (2002), Abramovay (2005), Sposito (2001), among others. With this, it is necessary to highlight the role of this research, becoming a means for teachers to have a new perception about the phenomenon of school violence. Alongside this, pedagogical practice is based on the restructuring of a quality educational environment. From the analysis of the information obtained in the teachers' responses during the interviews and during the situations observed at the time of the classes, it was possible to verify the phenomenon of violence in the school, characterizing the physical aggression among the students, the lack of respect and indiscipline.
