A influencia das festividades da feira de Caxixis sobre o índice de gravidez no município de Nazaré, Bahia

Abstract

A Feira de Caxixi é um evento secular que se realiza anualmente, na época da Semana Santa, na cidade de Nazaré, recôncavo baiano, e consiste na exposição e comercialização, em varejo de louças confeccionadas em barro, de tamanho e formas variadas, chamadas de caxixis. A prefeitura municipal, no intuito de atrair mais turistas mantém eventos paralelos como encenações teatrais nas ruas e shows musicais em praça públicas, em todos os 05 (cinco) dias da festa. Sendo funcionário de um dos laboratórios da cidade de Nazaré, e atento para um numero elevado de exames para diagnosticar gravidez, sempre após as festividades da feira de caxixis, surgiu-me o interesse de pesquisar se as festividades têm influência nos números elevados da gravidez. Para tanto, buscou-se investigar os índices de gravidez registrados nos períodos pós-feira de caxixis, no ano de 2010. No intuito de alcançar o objetivo exposto foram traçados os seguintes objetivos específicos: levantar informações nas fichas de cadastro dos laboratórios de análises clínicas do município de Nazaré, relativos ao diagnóstico de gravidez, coletados nos meses de Janeiro, Fevereiro e Março do ano de 2010, meses que antecede o evento da Feira de caxixis e os meses de Junho, Julho e Agosto de 2010, meses após as festividades, para efeito de comparação. A distinção entre os dois períodos, sendo um antes e o outro após a famosa feira, teve por objetivo averiguar, através dos dados coletados, em qual dessas épocas ocorreu maior incidência de diagnósticos positivos de gravidez, podendo assim comparar os meses anteriores e posteriores, e dessa forma averiguar se existiu influência ou não da feira com o índice de gravidez. Utilizou-se anteriormente autorização da Coordenadoria Geral de cada um dos laboratórios de analises clínicas e do Comitê de É tica da FAMAM para realização desse trabalho. Nesse contexto, trabalho dessa natureza poderá contribuir para um despertar dos gestores, de uma possível necessidade do direcionamento de olhares em relação a medidas preventivas. _________________________________________________________________________________________ The Fair Caxixi is a secular event held annually at the time of Holy Week, the city of Nazareth, gorge, Bahia, and consists of exhibition and marketing in retail tableware made of clay, size and shapes, called caxixis. Led us to investigate if the festivities have influence in high numbers of pregnancy. However, it was investigated the pregnancy rates reported in post-fair caxixis in the year 2010. In order to achieve the above objective were traced the following specific objectives: to gather information on the registration forms of clinical laboratories in the city of Nazareth, for the diagnosis of pregnancy, collected during January, February and March of 2010, months preceding the event caxixis Fair and the months of June, July and August 2010, months after the festivities, for comparison. The distinction between the two periods, one before and one after the famous fair, aimed to ascertain, through the data collected, which in these times higher incidence of positive diagnosis of pregnancy, so you can compare the months preceding and following, and thus determine whether or not there was influence of the fair with the pregnancy rate. It was used earlier authorization from the General of each of the clinical laboratories and the Ethics Committee of the FAMAM for this work. In this context, such work could contribute to an awakening of the managers, the necessity of directing gaze towards preventive measures.
