Concepção do docente sobre alfabetização e letramento nos anos iniciais em uma escola da rede municipal de Cruz das Almas-Ba

Abstract

Antigamente as escolas tinham como prioridade alfabetizar, enfatizando fundamentalmente a aprendizagem do sistema convencional da escrita, em que codificar e decodificar as letras e palavras era o suficiente para considerar um aluno alfabetizado. Percebeu-se, no entanto que a mera “codificação” e “decodificação” não era o suficiente, visto que crianças e adultos ao saírem da escola eram incapazes de ler e escrever funcionalmente textos variados em diferentes contextos sociais. A escola, além de alfabetizar, precisa dar condições necessárias para o letrar, pois é fundamental que os alunos aprendam o código e tenham habilidades para usá-lo. Ao mesmo tempo em que é fundamental entender que a alfabetização e o letramento são indissociáveis e têm suas especificidades. Partindo deste contexto, este estudo tem como objetivo geral compreender as concepções dos docentes sobre alfabetização e letramento nas turmas de 1º anos das séries iniciais. Especificamente pretende-se identificar as concepções que os docentes das turmas 1º anos das séries iniciais possuem acerca da alfabetização e letramento e conhecer as práticas pedagógicas de ensino da leitura e escrita utilizadas pelos docentes nas turmas de 1º anos. A metodologia que será utilizada para realização desse estudo será uma abordagem qualitativa, pois captura não só a aparência do fenômeno como também suas essências, procurando explicar sua origem, relações e mudanças, e tentando entender as consequências. Quanto ao delineamento, constitui-se como pesquisa de campo a ser realizado em uma escola da rede municipal de Cruz das Almas - BA. Como instrumentos de coleta de dados, será realizada observação das aulas, como também a aplicação de questionários aos professores que lecionam nas turmas das séries iniciais. Através deste estudo foi possível discutir como alfabetização e letramento são elementos importantes para os alunos das séries iniciais, como também a necessidade de cursos e reciclagens para que os professores entendam melhor a relação entre alfabetização e letramento, para que suas práticas melhorem e favorecem o aprendizado dos alunos. _____________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: It is understood that literacy is not simply to decode isolated letters, words or phrases. It is imperative that the individual, when being literate, makes use of writing and reading socially, since the frequent and competent act of reading and writing will modify his condition as a social and cultural being, inserting him into a culturally new world, such as being critical thinking and literate. In this way, the main objective of this work is to understand the teachers' conceptions about literacy and literacy in the first and second grade classes of the initial grades. Delineating on the following specific objectives: To identify the conceptions that the teachers of the classes 1st and 2nd years of the initial series have about literacy and literacy; to know the pedagogical practices of teaching of reading and writing used by the teachers in the classes of the 1st and 2nd years and to compare if the teaching practices of the teachers of the 1st and 2nd grade classes are in agreement with their conceptions about literacy and literacy. In this way the methodological procedures, regarding the objectives, this research constitutes as descriptive, considering that the data collected served to describe the teaching conception about literacy and literacy in the initial years in a school of the municipal network of Cruz das Almas - BA . It is still a field research, with a qualitative approach. The procedures and techniques for collecting the research were questionnaires applied to the teachers of the initial series and the managers of the Municipal School of Cruz das Almas - BA, as well as observation of the classes. Given the observations and analysis of the questionnaires applied to carry out this research, there was the opportunity to launch a critical look at the way literacy and literacy are performed in the classroom and it was noticed how this discussion is still superficial for some teachers.
