Caracterização do perfil farmacológico de pacientes acometidos por cefaleia: revisão de literatura

Abstract

RESUMO: A cefaleia é uma das condições clínicas que possui potencial maior de causar limitação influenciando de forma negativa no bem estar e na qualidade de vida dos pacientes acometidos por ela. O número de estudos realizados acerca do perfil de medicamentos mais utilizados por indivíduos acometidos por cefaleia ainda é baixo no Brasil. Sendo assim, estudar essa problemática é de grande relevância para demonstrar a importância do profissional farmacêutico como integrante da equipe multidisciplinar de saúde no âmbito da atenção básica de modo a auxiliar na farmacoterapia de pacientes atendidos com queixa de cefaleia. Este estudo objetivou caracterizar o perfil farmacológico de pacientes acometidos por cefaleia de forma a identificar na literatura os tratamentos farmacológicos e não farmacológicos da cefaleia; averiguar a prática da automedicação que os pacientes utilizam; e o conhecimento a respeito da cefaleia.Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura integrativa, com dados obtidos através de pesquisa na base de dados da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). Os artigos foram selecionados por um recorte histórico de 2010 a 2020, escritos na língua portuguesa e inglesa. A amostra final desta revisão foi formada por trabalhos científicos para discussão dos resultados divididos em categorias sobre automedicação na cefaleia, tratamento medicamentoso e alternativo e sobre o perfil epidemiológico dos indivíduos acometidos.Faz-se necessário um conhecimento mais direcionado para este tipo de caso a ser atendido. O profissional deve orientar o indivíduo para que o mesmo realize um tratamento com fármacos que resultem em eficácia para a resolução da algia referida e ressaltar a importância de não praticar a automedicação, evitando assim efeitos indesejáveis. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: Headache is one of the clinical conditions that has the greatest potential to cause limitation, negatively influencing the well-being and quality of life of patients affected by it. The number of studies carried out on the profile of drugs most used by individuals affected by headache is still low in our country. Therefore, studying this problem is of great relevance to demonstrate the importance of the pharmaceutical professional as a member of the multidisciplinary health team in the context of primary care in order to assist in the pharmacotherapy of patients treated with headache complaints. This study aimed to characterize the pharmacological profile of patients affected by headache in order to identify in the literature the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments of headache; ascertain the practice of self-medication that patients use; and knowledge about headache. It is an integrative literature review, with data obtained through research in the database of the Virtual Health Library (VHL). The articles were selected from a historical section from 2010 to 2020, written in Portuguese and English. The final sample of this review was formed by 7 scientific papers to discuss the results divided into categories on self-medication in headache, drug and alternative treatment and on the epidemiological profile of the affected individuals. More targeted knowledge is needed for this type of case to be attended. The professional should guide the individual so that he / she performs a treatment with drugs that translate into effectiveness for the resolution of the referred pain and emphasize the importance of not practicing self-medication, thus avoiding undesirable effects.
