Conduta do cirurgião dentista frente as alterações bucais diagnosticadas em crianças vítimas de violência doméstica: revisão de literatura

Abstract

A Violência Doméstica é algo que vem ocorrendo em vários lares, não só no Brasil, mas no mundo inteiro e o ambiente que deveria ser considerado de aconchego, segurança e amor, para muitos não é. Nesse sentido os Cirurgiões-Dentistas possuem um papel de grande importância na hora do diagnóstico e notificação mediante a suspeita ou confirmação de violência infantil. Sendo assim, trouxe como objetivo geral, mostrar através de uma revisão de literatura qual tem sido a conduta do cirurgião dentista mediante ao diagnóstico de crianças vítimas de violência doméstica. Á vista disso teve como objetivos específicos: caracterizar os tipos de estudo; verificar as lesões que mais tem acometido a cavidade bucal e verificar as medidas que devem ser adotadas pelos cirurgiões-dentistas, no intuito de assegurar o bem-estar do paciente. O estudo aborda uma revisão de literatura integrativa, constituída por artigos científicos de estudos teóricos e empíricos de bases de dados eletrônicas, apoiando se em leituras exploratórias e seletivas. Desse modo foram utilizados 25 artigos e 02 Monografias, sendo que o estudo bibliográfico foi realizado nas bibliotecas virtuais: Scientific Electronic Library on Line Scielo, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde e no Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, entre o período de janeiro de 2014 a novembro 2020, utilizando como descritores: Violência Infantil, Alterações Bucais, Cirurgião-Dentista e Diagnóstico. Através da análise do conteúdo foi possível observar quais os tipos de violência doméstica infantil, que segundo as publicações selecionados são: Violência física, violência sexual, negligência ou privação e violência psicologia, já as principais alterações bucais presentes nas crianças vítimas de algum desses tipos de violência são: lacerações nos freios labiais, hematomas na face, cárie de primeira infância, sífilis e o comportamento apresentado por elas durante o tratamento, e as medidas que podem ser adotadas pelos cirurgiões dentistas diante de tal situação que é comunicar ao conselho tutelar seja através da notificação ou telefonema, em caso de suspeita ou confirmação de violência doméstica infantil. Por isso é imprescindível a abordagem do assunto durante a graduação dos Cirurgiões-Dentistas, para que saiam mais seguros e preparados em saber como estar se posicionando mediante a tal situação. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Domestic violence is something that has been occurring in many homes, not only in Brazil, but throughout the world, and the environment that should be considered warm, safe and loving, for many is not. In this sense, dental surgeons have a very important role in the diagnosis and notification of suspected or confirmed child violence. Therefore, the general objective of this study was to show, through a literature review, what has been the behavior of the dental surgeon when diagnosing children victims of domestic violence. In view of this, it had as specific objectives: to characterize the types of study; to verify the injuries that have most affected the oral cavity and to verify the measures that should be adopted by dental surgeons, in order to ensure the well-being of the patient. The study is an integrative literature review, consisting of scientific articles of theoretical and empirical studies from electronic databases, based on exploratory and selective reading. Thus, 25 articles and 02 Theses were used, and the bibliographic study was conducted in virtual libraries: Scientific Electronic Library on Line Scielo, Virtual Health Library and the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, between the period January 2014 to November 2020, using as descriptors: Childhood Violence, Oral Changes, Surgeon-Dentist and Diagnosis. Through content analysis it was possible to observe which types of childhood domestic violence, which according to the selected publications are: Physical violence, sexual violence, neglect or deprivation and psychological violence, already the main oral changes present in children who are victims of some of these types of violence are: lacerations in the labial bridles, bruises on the face, early childhood caries, syphilis and the behavior presented by them during treatment, and the measures that can be adopted by dental surgeons in the face of such a situation that is to communicate to the guardianship council either through notification or phone call, in case of suspicion or confirmation of child domestic violence. Therefore, it is essential to address the subject during the dental surgeons' graduation, so that they can leave more confident and prepared to know how to be positioned by such a situation.
