Conhece-te a ti mesmo: análise da percepção dos discentes do curso de ciências contábeis da Faculdade Maria Milza a respeito da profissão contábil

Abstract

No contexto atual da sociedade, tem-se vivenciado diversas transformações, portanto, exige-se que o profissional contábil possua múltiplas habilidades para que possa ser inserido no mercado de trabalho, assim, o ensino superior constitui a ligação entre os discentes e o mercado de trabalho, propiciando o conhecimento de demandas atuais para o exercício da profissão. Dessa forma, o objetivo geral do estudo consistiu em analisar a percepção dos discentes do curso de Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis da Faculdade Maria Milza quanto à profissão contábil. A presente pesquisa classifica-se como descritiva quanto aos objetivos, possui uma abordagem classificada como quali-quantitativa e quanto ao seu delineamento levantamento survey realizado através de um questionário por meio da ferramenta online Google Forms. A técnica de coleta de dados consistiu em um questionário dividido em seis blocos, e o método de análise dos dados obtidos se deu através da escala Likert e ranking médio para análise das variáveis do questionário. A população estabelecida compreende 106 discentes regularmente matriculados no semestre 2021.1, entre o 1º ao 8º semestre e a amostra obitida foi de 60 respondentes. No âmbito das competências e habilidades, obteve-se o principal nível de concordância com relação à atuação do contador de forma ética nas suas atribuições, com o domínio adequado aos diferentes modelos organizacionais. Além disso, em relação às expectativas dos discentes, observou-se concordância no interesse de continuarem se aprimorando na área contábil, por meio de cursos, pós graduações dentre outros, entretanto, constatou-se índices neutros quanto ao campo e área de atuação. No que concerne à satisfação dos discentes, no contexto da IES, nota-se índices de satisfação geral e destaca-se que a formação possui relevância no mercado regional. Quanto à satisfação voltada para o curso, constatou a percepção positiva, já que na visão dos respondentes, o curso abrange conteúdos que contribuem para preparação de exames voltados para área de formação, assim como, a satisfação dos alunos com as aulas no período anterior a pandemia e negativamente a insatisfação com as aulas no ambiente remoto por meio das aulas online. Por fim, a satisfação em relação aos professores possuem rankings médios positivos e destaca-se que os docentes apresentam no início do semestre, o plano da disciplina que aborda os conteúdos a serem trabalhados durante o semestre. Deste modo, o estudo contribui significamente ao conhecer o perfil dos alunos do curso de Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis da Faculdade Maria Milza, bem como, evidencia o diagnóstico de avaliação da satisfação geral dos discentes. Em suma, sugere para investigações futuras que sejam realizadas pesquisas que compararem as expectativas dos discentes ao iniciar o curso e a satisfação dos mesmos nos semestres concluintes. _______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT In the current context of society, several transformations have been experienced, therefore, accounting professionals are required to have multiple skills so that they can be inserted in the labor market, thus, higher education is the link between students and the market of work, providing knowledge of current demands for the exercise of the profession. Thus, the general objective of the study was to analyze the perception of students from the Bachelor of Accounting course at Faculdade Maria Milza regarding the accounting profession. This research is classified as descriptive in terms of objectives, has an approach classified as quali-quantitative and in terms of its design, a survey carried out through a questionnaire through the online tool Google Forms. The data collection technique consisted of a questionnaire divided into six blocks, and the method of analyzing the data obtained was through the Likert scale and average ranking for analysis of the questionnaire variables. The established population comprises 106 students regularly enrolled in semester 2021.1, between the 1st and 8th semester and the obtained sample was 60 respondents. In the scope of competences and abilities, the main level of agreement was obtained regarding the accountant's performance in an ethical manner in their attributions, with the domain adequate to the different organizational models. In addition, in relation to the expectations of students, there was agreement in the interest of continuing to improve in the accounting area, through courses, postgraduate courses, among others, however, neutral indexes were found regarding the field and area of activity. With regard to student satisfaction, in the context of the HEI, there is general satisfaction indices and it is highlighted that training is relevant in the regional market. As for the satisfaction related to the course, the positive perception was found, as in the respondents' view, the course covers content that contributes to the preparation of exams focused on the training area, as well as the satisfaction of students with the classes in the period prior to pandemic and negatively dissatisfaction with classes in the remote environment through online classes. Finally, satisfaction in relation to teachers have positive average rankings and it is noteworthy that teachers present at the beginning of the semester, the discipline plan that addresses the contents to be worked on during the semester. Thus, the study significantly contributes to knowing the profile of students in the Bachelor of Accounting course at Maria Milza Faculty, as well as highlighting the assessment diagnosis of the general satisfaction of students. In short, it suggests, for future investigations, that research be carried out that compare the expectations of students at the start of the course and their satisfaction in the concluding semesters.
