A dança de matriz africana na formação de professores de educação física: um estudo sobre a prática pedagógica dos professores da Faculdade Maria Milza

Abstract

O estudo se insere entre os trabalhos que investigam o trato com o conhecimento da Dança de Matriz Africana (DMA) na formação de professores de Educação Física. Dessa forma, o presente estudo investiga como vem se dando o trato dos conhecimentos da Dança de Matriz Africana no curso de formação de professores de Educação Física da FAMAM? Para tanto, o objetivo geral é compreender a contribuição do ensino dos conhecimentos sistematizados da Dança de Matriz Africana na formação dos professores. E como objetivos específicos: identificar a concepção de Dança de Matriz Africana que fundamenta a prática pedagógica dos docentes do curso de Educação Física da FAMAM; discutir a concepção de indivíduo, educação e Dança que fundamenta a prática pedagógica para formação de professores; apontar possibilidades sobre os conteúdos de ensino da Dança de Matriz Africana na formação dos estudantes. Assim, para realizar uma investigação rigorosa e sistemática sobre o trato com os conhecimentos sistematizados da Dança de Matriz Africana no curso de formação de professores de Educação Física da FAMAM, fizemos uso dos princípios da pesquisa qualitativa utilizando da técnica da pesquisa documental – com ênfase no uso da técnica de análise de conteúdo e a aplicação de questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Como resultados foi possível identificar que é necessário avançar na concepção de DMA que fundamenta a prática pedagógica dos docentes da FAMAM, em especial garantir o ensino desse conhecimento a partir das contribuições científicas da psicologia histórico-cultural, da pedagogia histórico crítica e da perspectiva crítico-superadora da Educação Física. Além disso, no que tange a infraestrutura e materiais, se faz necessário a melhoria e aquisição destes, além da ampliação do acervo da biblioteca em relação aos livros e periódicos científicos que discutam a Dança e a DMA. ________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT The study is included among the works that investigate dealing with the knowledge of African Matrix Dance (AMD) in the training of Physical Education teachers. Thus, this study investigates how the knowledge of African Matrix Dance has been dealt with in the Physical Education teacher training course at FAMAM? Therefore, the general objective is to understand the contribution of the teaching of systematized knowledge of African Matrix Dance in teacher training. And as specific objectives: to identify the concept of African Matrix Dance that underlies the pedagogical practice of the teachers of the Physical Education course at FAMAM; discuss the concept of individual, education and dance that underlies the pedagogical practice for teacher training; to point possibilities about the teaching contents of African Matrix Dance in the training of students. Thus, to carry out a rigorous and systematic investigation on dealing with the systematized knowledge of African Matrix Dance in the Physical Education teacher training course at FAMAM, we made use of the principles of qualitative research using the technique of document research - with emphasis on use of the content analysis technique and the application of a questionnaire with open and closed questions. As a result, it was possible to identify that it is necessary to advance in the conception of AMD that underlies the pedagogical practice of FAMAM teachers, in particular to guarantee the teaching of this knowledge from the scientific contributions of historical-cultural psychology, historical-critical pedagogy and critical perspective -superior of Physical Education. Furthermore, with regard to infrastructure and materials, it is necessary to improve and acquire these, in addition to expanding the library's collection in relation to books and scientific journals that discuss Dance and AMD.
