Percepções de mulheres em conviver com a doença falciforme

Abstract

A Doença Falciforme é uma patologia hematológica hereditária que apresenta enorme impacto significativo à vida das pessoas. A doença inclui um conjunto de anemias hemolíticas hereditárias como anemia falciforme, talassemias, β- talassemias dentre outras. Por ser uma patologia que traz grandes limitações e inúmeras marcas no corpo, diversas mulheres acaba sofrendo por se sentir incapaz para o mercado de trabalho, trazendo para a vida dessas mulheres grande repercussão da vida social. O presente estudo tem como objetivo geral conhecer a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica de literatura como tem sido abordado a percepção das mulheres em conviver com a doença falciforme. E como objetivos específicos: traçar o perfil sócio demográfico destas mulheres em estudos na literatura, Identificar as limitações encontradas no seu cotidiano frente a doença; Descrever os fatores que dificultam e facilitam a sua inserção na dimensão social. Consiste em uma revisão de literatura integrativa, formada por artigos científicos de estudos teóricos e empíricos de bases eletrônicas, apoiando-se em leituras exploratórias e seletivas. A coleta de dados foi feita de 01/06/16 a 06/10/2016, nas bases eletrônicas Scientific Electronic Library on Line Scielo (SciELO) e Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), tendo como recorte temporal o período de 2010 a 2016, sendo os descritor: “Mulheres, Doença Falciforme e Cotidiano”. No qual emergiram 3 categorias: Perfil sócio demográfico das mulheres falcêmicas; Conhecendo enfrentamentos: As limitações para as mulheres falcêmicas e Convívio com a doença falciforme: estratégias de ação e interação na dimensão social. Os resultados apontaram que a doença falciforme impossibilita mulheres a terem uma vida normal, de estudar, casar, trabalhar e que a vivencia cotidiana também é demarcada por sentimentos negativos com relação a se próprio e à doença. Conviver com essa doença para essas mulheres, não é nada fácil, pois percebesse o quanto elas ficam limitadas a terem uma vida com restrições, devido às marcas que a própria doença apresenta. Essas mulheres utilizam estratégias como esperança de ter uma vida melhor, onde elas podem minimizar os riscos que a doença pode trazer, procurando habilidades para lidar com a doença, dando sentido a uma nova fase de sua vida. Sendo assim, é necessário, que haja um compromisso dos profissionais da área da saúde pública, a fim de fortalecer a política de saúde, para as pessoas com doença falciforme, direcionada às mulheres, como também aos gestores locais, a ofertar serviços especializados, com intuito de atender a demanda que necessita dessa boa qualidade de assistência._________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: NSickle cell disease is an inherited hematological condition that has a huge impact on people's lives. The disease includes a set of hereditary hemolytic anemias such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemias, β-thalassemias, among others. Because it is a pathology that brings great limitations and innumerable marks on the body, several women end up suffering because they feel incapable for the labor market, bringing to the life of these women great repercussion of social life. The present study has as general objective to know from a bibliographical review of literature how has been approached the perception of women in living with sickle cell disease. And as specific objectives: to trace the socio-demographic profile of these women in studies in the literature, Identify the limitations found in their daily life in the face of the disease; Describe the factors that hinder and facilitate their insertion into the social dimension. It consists of a review of the integrative literature, formed by scientific articles of theoretical and empirical studies of electronic bases, based on exploratory and selective readings. The data collection was done from 06/01/16 to 06/10/2016, in the electronic databases Scientific Electronic Library on Line Scielo (SciELO) and Virtual Health Library (VHL), having as a temporal cut the period from 2010 to 2016 , The descriptors being: "Women, Sickle Cell Disease and Daily Life". In which three categories emerged: Socio-demographic profile of sickle cell women; Knowing confrontations: The limitations for sickle cell women and Sickle cell disease: strategies for action and interaction in the social dimension. The results showed that sickle-cell disease makes it impossible for women to live a normal life, to study, marry, work and that everyday life is also demarcated by negative feelings about self and illness. Living with this disease for these women is not easy because they realize how limited they are to having a restricted life due to the marks that the disease itself presents. These women use strategies as the hope of a better life, where they can minimize the risks that the disease can bring, seeking skills to deal with the disease, giving meaning to a new phase of life. Therefore, there is a need for a commitment from public health professionals to strengthen health policy for people with sickle cell disease, targeting women as well as local To meet the demand that needs this good quality of assistance.
