O papel da literatura infantil na formação leitora dos discentes nos anos iniciais em uma escola municipal de Muritiba-BA

Abstract

A leitura, além de proporcionar ao leitor um conhecimento amplo sobre vários assuntos, é muito importante na vida do aluno, pois melhora o aprendizado, estimula o bom funcionamento da memória, aprimora a capacidade interpretativa e mantém o raciocínio ativo. Nota-se, dessa forma, que a importância da leitura se faz presente no universo formativo, desde o momento em que a criança começa a conhecer o mundo que a cerca. Entretanto, para o aluno se desenvolver e ser um bom leitor, a escola precisa estimulá-lo. Sabe-se que quando a leitura não é trabalhada nas salas de aula, os alunos podem não desenvolver interesse em realizar essa atividade, pois não têm a vivência do prazer de ler. Por esse motivo, é de extrema importância que tal prática seja estimulada no ambiente escolar e que essa tarefa parta diretamente do professor. Desta forma, está pesquisa tem como objetivo geral compreender como a literatura infantil contribui para formação leitora dos discentes nos anos iniciais em uma escola municipal de Muritiba-Ba. Especificamente, pretende-se discutir as percepções docentes sobre a utilização da literatura infantil para formação leitora nos anos iniciais; e descrever estratégias de leitura, através da literatura infantil, que se fazem presentes na prática dos professores dos anos inicias. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa possui natureza qualitativa; o seu delineamento metodológico, quanto aos objetivos caracteriza-se por um estudo descritivo. Esse estudo compõe-se como pesquisa de campo que foi realizado em uma escola pública do município de Muritiba-Ba. Como instrumentos de coleta de dados, foi realizada uma entrevista aos professores das turmas do 1º ao 5º ano do ensino fundamental. A partir dos resultados desta pesquisa, observa-se que as professoras realizam suas práticas de leitura em sala de aula da melhor maneira possível, sabendo que a escola não dispõe de muitos recursos para facilitar o aprendizado. Entretanto, algumas docentes buscam estratégias para estimular o gosto pela leitura de maneira prazerosa. ________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT Reading, in addition to providing the reader with broad knowledge on various subjects, is very important in the student's life, as it improves learning, stimulates good memory functioning, improves interpretive capacity and keeps reasoning active. It is noted, therefore, that the importance of reading is present in the formative universe, from the moment the child begins to know the world around him. However, for the student to develop and be a good reader, the school needs to encourage him. It is known that when reading is not worked on in classrooms, students may not develop interest in carrying out this activity, as they do not experience the pleasure of reading. For this reason, it is extremely important that this practice be encouraged in the school environment and that this task comes directly from the teacher. In this way, this research has the general objective of understanding how children's literature contributes to the reading formation of students in the early years in a municipal school in Muritiba-Ba. Specifically, we intend to discuss the teachers' perceptions about the use of children's literature for reading training in the early years; and to describe reading strategies, through children's literature, that are present in the practice of teachers in the early years. The methodology used in this research has a qualitative nature; its methodological design, in terms of objectives, is characterized by a descriptive study. This study is composed as a field research that was carried out in a public school in the city of Muritiba-Ba. As data collection instruments, an interview was conducted with teachers from the 1st to 5th grade of elementary school. From the results of this research, it is observed that the teachers carry out their reading practices in the classroom in the best possible way, knowing that the school does not have many resources to facilitate learning. However, some teachers seek strategies to encourage a taste for reading in a pleasurable way.
