Concepções pedagógicas de professores sobre questões étnico-raciais em duas escolas da rede pública do município de Governador Mangabeira - Ba.

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como intuito discutir as questões étnicos raciais presentes na sociedade e no contexto escolar. A sociedade brasileira é formada por uma grande diversidade étnico racial, que é entendida por gênero, raça, cor de pele, olhos, entre outras características. No entanto a discriminação racial está presente em alguns ambientes da sociedade como na escola, no trabalho dentre outros espaços, que acaba interferindo na auto-estima dos sujeitos e no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Hoje já existe a Lei que torna obrigatório o ensino de História Afro e Cultura Afro-brasileira, que passa ser inserido no currículo escolar. Assim, esta pesquisa ganha relevância, na medida em que discute sobre as questões étnico racial no contexto escolar. Mediante esses aspectos a educação deve ser democrática e igualitária, sendo que a escola é o espaço em que se formam cidadãos críticos, capazes de respeitar e valorizar a diversidade do outro e também a si mesmo. Diante disso definiu-se como objetivo geral desse estudo, identificar quais são as concepções pedagógicas de professores sobre a questão étnico-racial nas duas escolas do município de Governador Mangabeir-BA. E como específicos, verificar qual a compreensão de professores acerca da Lei 10639/03, em relação ao ensino de Historia Afro e Cultura Afro-brasileira; e apontar os desafios e possibilidades encontradas pelos profissionais de educação no processo de socialização das questões étnico-racial na sala de aula. Esta pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa, quanto aos seus objetivos é de natureza descritiva e documental. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada em duas escolas do município de Governador Mangabeira-BA. Sendo que os sujeitos dessa pesquisa foram quatro professoras. Os procedimentos para coleta de dados foi com aplicação de entrevistas. Como resultado da pesquisa verificou-se que as professoras compreendem o que se trata sobre as questões étnico-racial, porém existem algumas dificuldades no processo de socialização da temática. Com os resultados esperados resultará na compressão e socialização dos professores em abordar as questões étnico-raciais no contexto escolar, desmitificando o olhar de discriminação entre os sujeitos, para a superação das diferentes etnias presentes na sala de aula, visando um novo olhar sobre a Cultura Afro-brasileira, contribuindo e possibilitando novos caminhos que possam minimizar as barreiras da desigualdade no Brasil. ______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: This work has as purpose to discuss the racial ethnic issues present in society and in the school context. The Brazilian society is formed by a great ethnic racial diversity, which is understood by gender, race, color of skin, eyes, among other characteristics. Therefore, racial discrimination is present in some environments of the society such as school, work and other spaces that interfering in the self-esteem of subjects and in the teaching and learning process. Today, there is already a Law that makes compulsory the teaching of Afro History and Culture Afro Brazilian, which it was inserted in the school curriculum. Thus, this research gains relevance, in so far as it discusses racial ethnic issues in the school context. Through these aspects education must be democratic and egalitarian, and the school is the space in which critical citizens are formed, where they are capable of respecting and value the diversity of the other and also of oneself. Faced with this, it was defined as the general objective of this study, to identify the pedagogical conceptions of teachers on the ethnic racial question in the two schools of the municipality of Governador Mangabeira-BA and as specific objectives, to verify what teachers understand about Law 10639/03 in the relation to the teaching of the Afro History and Culture - Brazilian Afro; and to point out the challenges and possibilities encountered by education professionals in the process of socializing ethnic-racial issues in the classroom. This research is of qualitative approach, its objectives are of descriptive and documentary nature. The field research was conducted at two schools in the municipality of Governador Mangabeira-BA. Being that the subjects of this research were four teachers. The procedures for data collection were applied through interviews. As a result of the research it was found that the teachers understand what it is about ethnic racial issues, but there are some difficulties in the process of socialization of the thematic. The expected results will result in the compression and socialization of teachers in addressing ethnic racial issues in the school context, demystifying the look of discrimination between the subjects, to overcome the different ethnicities present in the classroom. Aiming for a new perspective at Brazilian Afro Culture, contributing and making possible new ways that can minimize the barriers of inequality in Brazil.
