A contribuição do estágio curricular e extracurricular para formação do bacharel em ciências contábeis: um estudo na Faculdade Maria Milza Famam.

Abstract

A evolução no mundo dos negócios em conjunto com consequências da globalização e das crescentes inovações tecnológica e da informação geraram mudanças para a contabilidade assim como a profissão contábil. Tais fatores exigem que a formação acadêmica promova o desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades necessárias a atuação do contador, nesse contexto o estágio é caracterizado como uma ferramenta importante, uma vez que permite o aperfeiçoamento dos conhecimentos obtidos na vida acadêmica e o preparo do profissional para a sua inserção no mercado. Assim, existem duas modalidades de estágio, sendo o curricular que é um requisito obrigatório na formação acadêmica e para a obtenção do diploma de bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis; e o estágio extracurricular caracterizado por um processo opcional do discente como uma forma de complementação da formação acadêmica. Diante do exposto esse estudo teve por objetivo analisar a percepção dos discentes da Faculdade Maria Milza (FAMAM) sobre a contribuição do estágio curricular e extracurricular para a formação acadêmica e profissional do graduando em Ciências Contábeis. Para tanto, foi realizado uma pesquisa de campo e aplicado um questionário a uma amostra de 49 discentes. Essa pesquisa se classificou como natureza descritiva com abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa. Os resultados apontaram que 95,26% dos discentes responderam concordar numa escala entre 5 e 7. Entre as contribuições foram citadas: um melhor preparo para se tornar um profissional de sucesso; adquirir conhecimentos relevantes para serem utilizado no futuro ambiente de trabalho; associação da teoria abordada em sala de aula com a prática vivenciada em campo; aperfeiçoamento dos conhecimentos; desenvolvimento de habilidades pessoais; maior segurança no exercício da profissão. Referente a análise do grau de concordância das contribuições do estágio do extracurricular uma média de 92,11% dos discentes responderam concordar numa escala entre 5 e 7. As contribuições do estágio extracurricular citadas no estudo foram: aumento dos conhecimentos além dos adquiridos na faculdade; oportunidade de colocar em pratica a teoria abordada em sala de aula; contato com o mercado de trabalho; assimilação dos conteúdos estudados; aumento das chances de inserção no mercado de trabalho e aperfeiçoamento do conhecimento já adquirido. Portanto percebe- se partir da analise que o estágio foi considerado pelos discentes uma atividade essencial para a formação profissional. ______________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: The evolution in the world of business together with the consequences of globalization and the growing technological and information innovations generated changes for accounting as well as the accounting profession. These factors require academic training to promote the development of the skills and abilities required by the accountant. In this context, the internship is characterized as an important tool, since it allows the improvement of the knowledge obtained in the academic life and the preparation of the professional for the their insertion in the market. Thus, there are two types of internship, being the curriculum that is a mandatory requirement in academic training and to obtain a baccalaureate degree in Accounting Sciences; and the extracurricular stage characterized by an optional process of the student as a form of complementation of the academic formation. In view of the above, this study had the objective of analyzing the perception of the students of the Faculty Maria Milza (FAMAM) about the contribution of the curricular and extracurricular internship to the academic and professional training of the graduate in Accounting Sciences. Therefore, a field survey was carried out and a questionnaire was applied to a sample of 49 students. This research was classified as a descriptive nature with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results indicated that 95.26% of the students answered agreed on a scale between 5 and 7. Among the contributions were cited: a better preparation to become a successful professional; acquire relevant knowledge to be used in the future work environment; association of theory approached in the classroom with the practice experienced in the field; improvement of knowledge; development of personal skills; greater security in the exercise of the profession. Regarding the analysis of the degree of agreement of the contributions of the extracurricular stage, an average of 92.11% of the students answered agreed on a scale between 5 and 7. The contributions of the extracurricular stage mentioned in the study were: increase of knowledge beyond those acquired in college; opportunity to put into practice the theory addressed in the classroom; contact with the labor market; assimilation of the studied contents; increase the chances of insertion in the labor market and improve the knowledge already acquired. Therefore, it is perceived from the analysis that the stage was considered by the students an essential activity for the professional formation.
